Cornell Mars Rover Team
The Cornell Mars Rover Team (CMR) aims to design an innovative Mars rover to compete in the annual University Rover Challenge. Our team will promote creativity and intellectual growth while developing a competitive design. The competition takes place in the deserts of southern Utah and consists of four tasks. Although the specifics of these tasks varies each year, our rover must combat rough terrain, communicate with a ground station, and use a robotic arm to perform these tasks. The Cornell Mars Rover group consists of students from many different fields of study, including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and many more, including some non-engineering majors.
