Amin H. Nasser was appointed Business Line Head, Exploration and Producing, Saudi Aramco in early January 2008. His current responsibilities as Business Line Head of Exploration & Producing include exploration, petroleum engineering, oil and gas production and processing activities.
Nasser graduated from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering. He began his career with Saudi Aramco as a field Petroleum Engineer. During the past 20 years he advanced through a number of management positions including, Manager for Engineering; Gas Gathering; Production; and maintenance of the world’s largest offshore fields.
In April 2006, Nasser was appointed as Vice President of Petroleum Engineering and Development, but had held the position of Executive Director of Petroleum Engineering and Development Administrative Area since May 2005.
Nasser is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
