About Kobbina:
Kobbina works for ConocoPhillips’ Bayway Refinery and is the machinery engineer for the crude distillation and oil movement units and has been responsible for developing Reliable Operating Limits for refinery equipment to improve process reliability and safety. Kobbina has also led refinery-wide efforts to gather and track refinery performance metrics. Prior to his role as a reliability engineer, Kobbina worked as project engineer in charge of small capital projects for rotating equipment. In the fall, Kobbina will be returning to academia to pursue his MBA at the Harvard Business School.
