Feartured Speaker: Robin Grouette, Production Superintendent, Appalachia Operations
About Robin:
Robin Grouette is currently Operational Superintendent for Shell Oil Company’s North West Pennsylvania assets. In Bradford, Pennsylvania, Shell is working to manage and optimize legacy production while preparing the asset for further exploration and development growth.
She earned double major bachelor degrees in zoology and geology from the University of Calgary in Alberta. She began her Shell career as a geologist in 1998, and has since served in a number of management positions of increasing responsibility in both technical and operational aspects of energy development. Her previous position, as Business Advisor to the President of Shell Oil, gave her a broadened perspective of the levers affecting the global market, its environmental challenge, as well as the role the industry can play. Her current position involves engaging with public, private, and non-governmental leaders on a wide range of community energy issues. She is also charged with maintaining Shell’s high standard of production practices and ensuring the health and safety of her community
Robin has recently moved to Bradford, with her husband and two small children.
