Cornell’s student organizations offer clear evidence that our students are engaged and vocal, and routinely contribute to the daily life of the College of Engineering. AISES, NSBE, SHPE, and SWE provide venues for our engineers to develop leadership and teamwork skills, have a voice on campus, participate in regional and national affairs, and have fun while getting to know one another. If you’re interested in finding out more about our student organizations, the links below will take you to each group’s Web site, where a wealth of additional information is available.
The goal of the Student Organizations and their leaders is to help students succeed academically while also helping them develop leadership skills and gain experience working with others. We firmly believe that building these skills while they are engineering students will serve them well long after they graduate from the College of Engineering. Our student leaders work with us to develop student programs, meet with corporate visitors, and represent Cornell at regional and national meetings.
