The Diversity Programs in Engineering office sponsors professional development workshops known as Master Your Future (MYF) and Strategic Actions for Excellence (SAFE) sessions.
The MYF programs are comprised of a series of workshops covering the ins and outs of communication, finances, image, research, standardized exams and many other specific topics of interest.
SAFE sessions touch on an array of topics pertinent for a particular class year. The SAFE session for the freshmen class covers study skills for Cornell engineers, the sophomore seminar touches upon research opportunities, internships and the affiliation process, while the SAFE session for juniors and seniors addresses career development and the graduate school application process. As always snacks are provided!
