Science on the Half Shell: How and Why We Study Evolution

This event recurs every week on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 2010 September 24 to 2011 January 17.
Using bivalves, or mollusks, as an example, the exhibit aims to explore evolution through touchable models, actual specimens, and detailed images. Visitors will learn how scientists study evolution and how they are unraveling the Bivalve Tree of Life, part of the vast evolutionary tree.
