Women in Engineering Day 2009

Cornell University’s College of Engineering cordially invites you and your family to attend our

Women in Engineering Day

Saturday, October 17, 2009

As a young woman with a possible future in engineering, we hope you can join us for a day that will introduce you to the Cornell community, its multitude of Engineering opportunities, and an insider’s look at our facilities.  Our program will include an overview of the college and the admissions process, time in the engineering labs for students, panels with faculty and budding engineers, as well as a tour of the Engineering Quad.  A highlight of the program is also the opportunity to meet several of our SWE students.  The SWE, Society of Women Engineers, chapter on campus has consistently been ranked among the best chapters in the country.  It consists of women just like you, who gather to help network, support, and learn with other female engineers both on campus and in the community.

To view the current schedule, please see our Tentative Itinerary

Please note that registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.  This means that we may fill up before the October 9th registration deadline.

To register for Women in Engineering Day, you must call the Engineering Admissions Office at 607.255.5008.
