Areas of Study

The study of engineering at Cornell is rigorous and comprehensive. All student engineers complete the College of Engineering’s Common or Core Curriculum before selecting a major.  Students may also choose to complete a minor in an area outside their major.  Engineering students experience the depth and breadth of Cornell Engineering through our 13 majors, 15 minors, and more than 60 concentrations. For more information on undergraduate majors and minors, see the Undergraduate Education Web page or click a specific major or minor.
