Mark D. Spencer, Director
Mark is in his 15th year of college admissions. During his tenure he has consulted on the preparation of high school profiles and served on state admissions conferences on subjects such as "Planning the Campus Visit" to "Counseling the Engineering Student." He has also had the privilege of traveling and speaking to high school students throughout much of the United States and Canada. Mark's regions include:
Claudia González, Associate Director
Claudia is a transplanted Texan and earned her BA in Political Science from Grinnell College in Iowa. Since her time in college, Claudia has worked in admissions at Oberlin College in Ohio and at Harvey Mudd College in California. She also enjoys having four seasons, is a reality TV show junkie and wants to learn to rock climb.

Meredith Graham, Associate Director
Meredith earned her BA in Chemistry at The College of Wooster (OH) and her MEd in Higher Education and Student Personnel at Kent State University. Before coming to Cornell, she worked in industrial R&D and spent several years both advising and recruiting undergraduates in the sciences and engineering at Purdue University. Meredith’s regions include:

Jill K. Schaffer, Associate Director
Jill received her BS in Engineering and her MEng in Computer Science from Cornell. Jill’s background includes technology work in relation to software, medical development, and higher education as well as several years of campus ministry before returning to Cornell in admissions. Jill’s regions include:

Monica Ravas, Office Manager
Monica is a native to the Ithaca area and attended a local community college. She has served the Cornell Undergraduate Admissions community for 21 years with the latter eight being in Engineering. Monica has seen many thousands of student applications and many students come and mature, gain intelligence as well as confidence and commence to be productive citizens. Monica enjoys her part in Student Services helping the students along the way. She provides Office Management and data for student recruitment and student admittance.
