Employers often hold evening Employer Information Sessions to inform students about career opportunities. With few exceptions, they are open to any interested student (regardless of major or year in school). Most are sponsored by engineering student organizations, such as SWE, IEEE, ASME, AIChE, NSBE, SHPE, ASCE, and others. Food and refreshments are often served.
