The Cornell Automotive X Prize (Cornell AXP) Team reflects the scholarship and democratic ideals of Cornell University. Embodying Cornell's heritage of academic excellence, Cornell AXP is comprised of over 45 undergraduate & graduate students and faculty members, with students/faculty primarily from the Johnson Graduate School of Management and the College of Engineering. Building on Cornell's track record of creating racing vehicle systems (Cornell students have won 9 of the past 20 collegiate Formula SAE competitions), Cornell AXP is a cross-functional team devoted to designing, building, managing, racing, and selling a fuel-efficient 100 mpg automobile.
