Formula SAE (FSAE)

Cornell Formula SAE is a group of undergraduate and graduate students who design, manufacture, test, and race a formula-style, open-wheel racecar in the Formula SAE competition every May. The competition, held annually in Pontiac, MI, among 140 schools from 12 countries, tests dynamic performance in acceleration, skidpad, autocross, and endurance events and evaluates teams on their design, cost, and business presentation skills. The team has a long-standing history of success in this competition, winning the world championship seven times and placing in the top ten almost every year.
