Student Grant Program
Engineering Learning Initiatives is committed to facilitating connections and providing opportunities for undergraduate students who are motivated to pursue undergraduate research during their time at Cornell.
Engineering students and faculty may apply to Engineering Learning Initiatives for funding awards to support undergraduate research projects. Although some students may be able to secure funding through individual faculty research grants or may instead opt to gain academic credit for a research project, the College of Engineering’s Undergraduate Research Student Grant Program (administered through Engineering Learning Initiatives) offers an additional source of support. Funds may be used to provide a student stipend or to cover project expenses.
Our goal is to enable as many students as possible to benefit from an undergraduate research experience at Cornell.
