Congratulations to undergraduate student Hazuki Takahashi, selected a 2025 Optica Women Scholar!
Takahashi, an undergraduate researcher in the Xu Research Group, was selected in recognition of her excellence in research to enhance imaging techniques using multi-photon microscopes. Takahashi ‘s work aims to improve the efficiency of these microscopes for imaging deeper tissue with higher resolution for clinical research. The award includes a $10k scholarship, a one-year Optica student membership and access to Optica’s global network of mentors and the supporting companies.
