Please join us as Dr. Esak Lee presents “An organ-on-chip technology for reconstituting human physiology and diseases in vitro.” during a noontime seminar on October 29th. Dr. Lee joins Cornell University as an assistant professor in Biomedical Engineering. He was formerly at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University and Department of Biomedical Engineering at Boston University, where he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in bioengineering, tissue engineering, and organs-on-chip technology. Immunology Over Lunch seminars is brought to you by the Cornell Center for Immunology. The events are designed to introduce relatively new faculty to the Cornell community and to foster scientific exchanges and connections in a fun, informal environment. Lunch for these events will be provided starting at 12pm on a first come-first-served basis. Speaker introduction will be around 12:15pm followed by a ~40-minute seminar. All individuals – faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate students – who have an interest in immunology or associated subjects are welcomed to attend !
