Yongjin Cho’s paper is Editor’s Pick in Applied Physics Letters

Yongjin Cho, research associate in electrical and computer engineering, is the lead author of a new paper published by the journal Applied Physics Letters. The paper titled “Molecular beam homoepitaxy on bulk AlN enabled by aluminum-assisted surface cleaning” was selected as an Editor’s Pick. ECE Professors Huili Grace Xing and Debdeep Jena are among the paper’s co-authors. Halo Labs just raised $12M in Series B Financing. The company was co-founded by S.C. Thomas Sze Director of the Sibley School, David Erickson, and former MAE Ph.D. student, Bernardo Cordovez who worked in Erickson's lab. Erickson was a chairman at Halo Labs until 2018. Halo Labs analyzes particles to allow their customers to better their biopharmaceutical products. The company provides researchers with unprecedented insights into the particles present in their processes by leveraging its core scientific competency: optical imaging on membranes. Read more
