Biography
I was born and grew up in Buffalo (NY) where I spent my early years before moving to Treviso (Italy) at 8 years old and attended high school there! I enjoy playing basketball and spending time with friends, family and loved ones.
I moved back to the States to attend Daemen University. I completed a double major in Mathematics and Liberal Studies with minors in Art History, Philosophy and Psychology. I then graduated from the University at Buffalo (UB) in 2020 with a master’s in Higher Education Administration. Since then, I have furthered my studies by deepening my knowledge and research interests in higher education through the pursuit of a doctorate in Higher Education at UB’s Graduate School of Education (GSE). I completed two graduate advanced certificates: the first in International Education Data Analysis and the second in Qualitative Methodology. I am also working on a third one in Applied Statistics Analysis. I served as co-chair for the Committee for Social Justice and Inclusion (CSJI) and as an elected PhD student representative on the Equity, Diversity, Justice and Inclusion (EDJI) committee in GSE as well. Inclusive excellence has been at the forefront of my professional, personal, and academic pursuits throughout my whole life!
My previous work experience includes the UB Honors College, TRiO offices such as Student Support Services, the UB Athletics Department, and the Gifted Math Program at the University at Buffalo to name a few.
Student success, well-being and belonging have always been at the heart of my work and passions and I am so excited to working with the Office of Inclusive Excellence!
