Biography
Jon Kimchi is an experienced regulatory compliance professional with expertise in environmental, operational, and data privacy compliance. Currently, Jon serves as Senior Director of Compliance at Vail Resorts, where he leads a team of regional compliance professionals overseeing environmental compliance programs at 37 resorts (including hotels and retail locations). Jon develops, implements, and monitors enterprise compliance strategies and programs to mitigate compliance risks and reduce or eliminate operational impacts. Prior to Vail Resorts, Jon worked as an environmental consultant with EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC supporting projects ranging from infrastructure development and licensing to water resource engineering. Jon holds a BS in Science of Earth Systems from Cornell University (’10) and an MEng in Environmental Engineering (‘15) from Johns Hopkins University.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife, Katie Wu (’11) and their dog Ash.
