In January 2018, Cornell began working with Lewis-Burke Associates LLC (Lewis-Burke), a Washington, D.C. based consulting firm that specializes in advising research universities on federal programs and policies. Lewis-Burke staff includes 28 policy experts with deep understanding of federal agencies and scientific research, education, and training programs and personnel. Cornell and Lewis-Burke are partnering to enhance research development and to implement strategies to pursue, shape, and create sources of funding to increase and diversify research portfolios.
