Information Session Requests
Employer information sessions, (presentations, tech talks, product demo's, showcases, coding events, competitions, and pre-nights) can greatly enhance your recruitment effort.
- Events held early in the semester raise student awareness about your organization and the opportunities you have to offer.
- Information Sessions held the evening before on-campus interviews allow you to present key information to students and highlight your organization.
Most events for engineering students are set up by Engineering Student Organizations. Please choose one of the trained and certified organizations listed below to assist in arranging your information session. The student organization, for a fee, will reserve an appropriate room on the Engineering Quad, handle catering (if you so choose) and advertise the event to all students.
** PLEASE NOTE: Information Session and Tech Talks should be requested four weeks prior to the desired date. Cornell University Student Activities Office requires events to be registered at least three weeks prior to the start date. Completing your request form four weeks prior to your desired date ensures your event is registered with the University within this time frame. Student organizations may be fined for late filing, or lack of filing an Event Registration Form; therefore, requests received less than three weeks prior to the desired date are not able to be processed.

If you have a flier you would like us to use for your advertising please submit it in electronic JPEG format to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please make sure your flier is in 'landscape' orientation (not portrait) as the flat panel TV monitors that are used to post advertisements are wide-screen. Advertisements are only displayed for a few seconds so please keep wording to a minimum.
