Co-op Summer Session Courses

Courses selected from the regular curricula (normally taken during the fall term of the junior year) in the College of Engineering are offered in the summer to accommodate the schedules of Cornell students in the Engineering Cooperative Education Program. Other students are encouraged to enroll in these courses as space permits.

The courses take place during two consecutive periods: May 24-July 4 and July 5-August 15.

The Engineering Cooperative Education Program summer term is essentially a curriculum term in the College of Engineering, therefore, tuition is not the same as regular summer session. Co-op Summer Session tuition is based on the tuition for a semester. In general, the policies for the summer sessions also apply to the Engineering Cooperative Education Program summer term.

Students in the Engineering Cooperative Education Program summer term may also take regular summer session courses. Students are responsible for being aware of summer-session policies and the deadlines for registering in electives.

Students may complete pre-registration forms in either the School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions in B20 Day Hall or in Engineering Co-op & Career Services in 201 Carpenter Hall.

Additional information can be found on the Cornell School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions website.
