Career Peer Advisors and Student Administrative Assistants serve a critical role in the Engineering Career Center. Our student employees welcome and direct students, employers, and visitors to appropriate resources; offer an invaluable student perspective needed to create effective programming and services, provide resume & cover letter reviewspractice interviews, practice coding interviews, and so much more!

Grace Chung

Grace Chung

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences '21

Grace is a senior in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Born and raised in Queens, New York, she will graduate with a major in Biology and Society and a minor in Health Equity.  On campus, she is the president of Ithaca Health Initiative, a public health organization, a brother in Alpha Phi Omega, a community service fraternity, and a brother in Alpha Epsilon Delta, a pre-health honor society. Over the summer, she spent her time working as an EMT/COVID-19 screener as well as a medical assistant at a primary care office. She is preparing to pursue a career as a Physician’s Assistant after she graduates.

Ruchi Chitgopekar

Ruchi is a senior majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in English. She is originally from the Chicago area and loves the Midwest with a passion. On campus, Ruchi is the treasurer of the Cornell Dressage Club, on the executive board of Cornell’s chapter for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and a Cornell Tradition Fellow. Ruchi also sits on the executive board of the Cornell Engineering Alumni Association as a student representative. She has spent past summers as a Quality Control intern at Regis Technologies and learning to operate a carbon capture pilot plant at Imperial College, and looks forward to exploring the different career opportunities available in her field. You can find Ruchi in the office assisting employers, greeting visitors, and helping students with practice interviews and resume reviews. In her free time, Ruchi loves gardening, going to Wegmans, and exploring Ithaca with her dog, Ollie!


Caroline Devin

Caroline is a senior majoring in Environmental Engineering and is originally from Rockland County, New York. On campus, Caroline is an active Cornell Tradition Fellow and a member of Alpha Phi. She has spent many summers working as a data analyst with Technical Traffic Consultants and spent this last summer working as an engineering intern with Kimley-Horn.

Emily Gibson

Emily is a senior from Champaign, IL majoring in Civil Engineering. She spent the last 7 months on a co-op in Connecticut, doing structural design. Outside of class, she’s a member of ASCE, works in the lighting shop at Schwartz, and helps run Cornell Productions - you can often find her working at shows across campus. Outside of school, she loves running, hiking, baking bread, and exploring new places!



Myles Cherebin

College of Engineering '22

Myles is a junior Electrical and Computer Engineering major from Syracuse, New York.  This past summer Myles worked as a firmware engineer intern at SRC, Inc.  On campus, Myles is involved with Cornell's National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) chapter, Under-represented Minorities in Computing (URMC) and Scholars Working Ambitiously to Graduate (S.W.A.G).  He also works with the Diversity Programs in Engineering office.


Ching Pang

College of Engineering '21

Ching is a senior in the College of Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she moved to New York City in high school. This past summer, Ching worked at Procter and Gamble as a Process and Engineering intern at Gillette in South Boston. On campus, she is a part of the AguaClara project team and an active brother in the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities like rock climbing and hiking, especially exploring hiking trails in the Ithaca area, and also experimenting with different cooking and baking recipes.


Caitlin Stanton

B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering '20, M.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, College of Engineering '21

Caitlin is a Masters of Engineering student studying electrical and computer engineering with a focus on robotics and embedded systems from New York City. On campus she was the founding president for the Beta Chi chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon engineering sorority, and is currently a board member for Women in Computing at Cornell (WICC), a TA for the ECE department, and an undergraduate researcher for the Collective Embodied Intelligence lab. This past summer she interned at Lyft as a hardware engineer for Level 5, the self-driving car division. Previously she's worked as an electrical engineering intern at Microsoft, a software engineering intern at Qualcomm, and an innovation fellow at Girls Who Code. Her hobbies include public speaking, bullet journaling, and reading.


Kelly Ernst

College of Engineering '22

Kelly is a junior studying Environmental Engineering with a minor in Inequality Studies. She is from Glastonbury, CT. Over the summer, she interned with Veolia Water at a wastewater treatment plant. On campus, Kelly is a member of the Domestic Subteam of Engineers Without Borders, and she is an active member of Best Buddies.


Deniz Tekant

College of Engineering '22

Deniz is a junior from Istanbul, Turkey in the College of Engineering majoring in Operations Research and minoring in Business and Fashion. On-campus, she is an active member of the Cornell Rocketry Team, GreenClub, Society of Women Engineers and is conducting research on electrospinning nanofibers at the Functional Nanofibers Laboratory. She loves meeting new people, helping others, and is intellectually curious about various topics outside of ORIE. Outside of academics, she loves travelling, cute baby animals, reading, baking, and going on adventures with friends. 


Manya Walia

College of Engineering '22

Manya is a junior from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, pursuing a major in Operations Research Engineering and a Dyson Business minor for engineers. On campus, she is a corporate officer for Cornell Association of Computer Science Undergraduates, engagement manager for the Cornell chapter of Consult Your Community, and a Kathak-fusion dancer in Cornell Nazaqat. She has also been a Code4Kids teaching facilitator at Belle Sherman School in Ithaca. Outside of school, Manya loves to enjoy spending time on the beach, discussing fun new recipes, and creating dance videos.


Skyler Krouse

College of Engineering ‘23

Skyler is currently a sophomore in the College of Engineering. She is born and raised in New Jersey, and is planning on majoring in Computer Science. Skyler is a color-guard member in the Big Red Marching Band, a webmaster for the Cornell University Indoor Drumline, and a member of Women in Computing at Cornell. In her spare time, Skyler is an avid reader and Disney movie enthusiast.


Akiko Kelley

College of Architecture, Art, and Planning '24

Akiko is an incoming freshman in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning and plans to major in Urban and Regional Studies with a double minor in Real Estate and Business. She is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and is gearing up to weather her first winter in Ithaca. Over the summer, she virtually coached a youth soccer team and discovered a multitude of new hobbies, including bread making and sewing. When on campus, she hopes to get involved in intramural sports and volunteer through Cornell Tradition.
