Shivaun Archer receives outstanding teaching award from ASEE

Shivaun Archer, Ph.D., a senior lecturer at the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering, has received the 2024 Outstanding Teacher Award from the St. Lawrence Section of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). The award recognizes Dr. Archer’s contributions in developing 28 innovative labs across the biomedical engineering curriculum and her deep caring for students. The commendation went on to say that Archer extends her impact by mentoring new faculty, leading teaching workshops and sharing her work through ASEE. She received the award at the ASEE St. Lawrence annual conference held April 26-27, 2024 at the York University Lassonde School of Engineering in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
