Fani Derveni joined the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering as an assistant professor in August 2025. Her research group, the Scalable MetaStructures Laboratory (SCALE Lab), develops and characterizes innovative, scalable (meta)materials toward sustainable and resilient infrastructure.
