Ang ’25 was chosen as one of Cornell’s 2025 Merrill Presidential Scholars.

Caggiano, associate dean for M.Eng. programs and professor of practice, won a Cornell Engineering EPICC Award in the category of excellence.

Dai, the Leon C. Welch Professor of Engineering, was awarded the 2024 John von Neumann Theory Prize by INFORMS.

Daw, Ph.D.  ’20, assistant professor of data sciences and operations at the University of Southern California Marshall School, received a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award.

De Leeuw ’25 was chosen as one of Cornell’s 2025 Merrill Presidential Scholars.

Dwivedi, assistant professor at Cornell Tech, was awarded the 2024 Blackwell-Rosenbluth Award for outstanding junior researchers in Bayesian statistics.

Elmachtoub ’09, associate professor at Columbia Engineering, was awarded the Donald P. Gaver, Jr. Early Career Award by INFORMS.

Frazier, Eleanor and Howard Morgan Professor of Engineering, received a 2024 Teaching Award from Cornell Engineering.

Garg, assistant professor at Cornell Tech, received a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award.

Goldberg, associate professor, received a 2025 Community-Engaged Practice and Innovation Award from the David M. Einhorn Center for Community Engagement.

Kazachkov ’11, assistant professor at the University of Florida, received a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award.

Lewis, Maxwell M. Upson Professor of Engineering, was chosen as the 2025 president-elect of INFORMS.

Lodi, Andrew H. and Ann R. Tisch Professor, and his co-authors received an Honorable Mention for the INFORMS Computing Society’s Harvey J. Greenberg Research Award.

López de Prado, visiting professor, received the Officer’s Cross of the Royal Order of Civil Merit, which represents a knighthood and one of Spain’s highest honors.

Meyerhoff, director of administration, won a Cornell Engineering EPICC Award in the category of community.

Minca, professor, received a 2024 Teaching Award from Cornell Engineering.

Shmoys, Laibe/Acheson Professor of Business Management and Leadership Studies, won the George E. Kimball Medal from INFORMS. He was also named a 2024 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a Stephen H. Weiss Presidential Fellow at Cornell University.

Tardos, Jacob Gould Schurman Professor of Computer Sciences, received a 2025 Kendall S. Carpenter Memorial Advising Award from Cornell University.

Topaloglu, Howard and Eleanor Morgan Professor and program director at Cornell Tech, won Honorable Mention for the INFORMS Frederick W. Lanchester Prize.
