    Daw, Ph.D.  ’20, assistant professor of data sciences and operations at the University of Southern California Marshall School, received a National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development Award.

    Dwivedi, assistant professor at Cornell Tech, was awarded the 2024 Blackwell-Rosenbluth Award for outstanding junior researchers in Bayesian statistics.

    Lewis, Maxwell M. Upson Professor of Engineering, was chosen as the 2025 president-elect of INFORMS.

  • Andrea Lodi

    Lodi, Andrew H. and Ann R. Tisch Professor, and his co-authors received an Honorable Mention for the INFORMS Computing Society’s Harvey J. Greenberg Research Award.

  • Marcos López de Prado

    López de Prado, visiting professor, received the Officer’s Cross of the Royal Order of Civil Merit, which represents a knighthood and one of Spain’s highest honors.

    Meyerhoff, director of administration, won a Cornell Engineering EPICC Award in the category of community.

    Minca, professor, received a 2024 Teaching Award from Cornell Engineering.

  • David Shmoys

    Shmoys, Laibe/Acheson Professor of Business Management and Leadership Studies, won the George E. Kimball Medal from INFORMS. He was also named a 2024 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a Stephen H. Weiss Presidential Fellow at Cornell University.

    Tardos, Jacob Gould Schurman Professor of Computer Sciences, received a 2025 Kendall S. Carpenter Memorial Advising Award from Cornell University.
