Biography
Zach Escalante was an early entrant to the Data Science field following his time as a student at CFEM. Upon graduation he worked as a fixed income trader, during which he recognized the vast need for technically savvy and data-proficient talent in the financial industry.
Seeing this trend, he left trading and started his journey into data, working with many organizations in various industries including FinTech, Pharmaceutical, Creative and Consumer. Currently, he’s working on interesting data problems at LinkedIn as a Data Scientist on their Careers team!
Zach’s hobbies include Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Scuba diving, wine tasting, and hiking.
