Bio: Madhur Srivastava is an assistant research professor in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Cornell University. The overall goal of his research program is to develop data processing methods that interface between biophysical techniques and biological systems to extract the desired information from the experiments, currently obstructed by the presence of noise. The primary research focus is to enhance resolution in biophysical methods, such as magnetic resonance spectroscopy and imaging, by designing advanced and fundamentally novel methods of data processing for single and multidimensional signals. This will enable and aid various spectroscopic, microscopic, and imaging methods to study biological systems in native environments with high temporal and spatial resolution.
