  • Nelly Andarawis-Puri

    Andarawis-Puri has been promoted to full professor.

  • Aisha Brundan

    Brundan ’26 has been awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.

  • John Callister

    Callister, senior lecturer, received a Cornell Engineering Teaching Award.

  • Elizabeth M. Fisher

    Fisher, who has been a member of the faculty since 1991, received emerita status.

  • Giuliana Hofheins

    Hofheins, doctoral student, was selected for a 2025 Zonta International Amelia Earhart Fellowship.

  • Brian Kirby

    Kirby, professor, received a Creative Teaching Award from the Cornell Center for Teaching Innovation.

  • Hadas Kress-Gazit

    Kress-Gazit, the Geoffrey S.M. Hedrick Senior Endowed Professor, was named associate dean for diversity and academic affairs for Cornell Engineering.

  • Atieh Moridi

    Moridi, associate professor and Aref and Manon Lahham Faculty Fellow, was selected to participate in the Grainger Foundation Frontiers of Engineering 2025 Symposium of the National Academy of Engineering. Moridi was also promoted to associate professor with tenure.

  • Cara M. Nunez

    Nunez, assistant professor, was honored with an EPICC Award by Cornell Engineering.

  • Robert Shepherd

    Shepherd was elected John F. Carr Professor of Mechanical Engineering.

  • Meredith Silberstein

    Silberstein was promoted to full professor.

  • Sadaf Sobhani

    Sobhani, assistant professor, was selected for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Niagara Frontier Section 2025 Young Professional of the Year Award.

  • Richard H. Rand

    Rand, professor emeritus, received the JP Den Hartog Award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

  • Hadas Ritz

    Ritz, senior lecturer, received an Advising Award from Cornell Engineering.

  • Fabien Royer

    Royer, assistant professor, received a Teaching Award from Cornell Engineering.

  • Zhiting Tian

    Tian received the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Director’s Fellowship. Tian was also promoted to full professor.

  • Jian-Xun Wang

    Wang was elected associate professor.

  • Z. Jane Wang

    Wang, professor, was recognized as the recipient of the American Physical Society’s 2025 Stanley Corrsin Award. Wang also received a Teaching Award from Cornell Engineering.

  • Alan Zehnder

    Zehnder, professor, received an EPICC Award from Cornell Engineering.
