Biography
Oleg Gorobtsov works at the intersection of advanced X-ray science and data-driven materials research. Oleg integrates experiments at free electron lasers and synchrotrons with machine learning and modeling to investigate quantum, hierarchical, and energy materials. Oleg earned a Ph.D. in condensed matter physics from the University of Hamburgand the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron after earning an M.S. in physics of fundamental interactions and a B.S. in applied mathematics and physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
