Schedule a Resume/Cover Letter Review or Practice Interview (for Undergraduates)

The Engineering Career Center has trained Cornell Undergraduates (Peer Advisors) who can provide feedback on engineering students' resume and cover letter drafts, as well as prepare students for interviews.

All resume reviews and practice interviews in the College of Engineering are conducted with seasoned peer advisors.

First-year students are invited to meet with one of these peer advisors for tips on navigating career resources, or to discuss career interests, using Handshake, Career Fairs, employer information sessions, and how to make the most of next summer.

To schedule an appointment with a trained Peer Advisor, sign up on our online calendar for practice behavioral interviews or resume/cover letter reviews (this service is available during the academic year only-beginning for the 2020-21 academic year on August 26).

The peer advisor with whom you schedule your appointment will email you with a Zoom link and will request that you email your materials (e.g. resume cover letter, job description) before your scheduled appointment.

Practice Coding Interviews will be offered for the fall semester starting on September 2. To schedule a practice coding interview, please sign up on our Coding Peer Advisor calendar.

Practice Case Interviews are one-hour appointments. To schedule an appointment, please sign up on the Cornell Career Services calendar.

*Some after-hours appointments are available!

Please include your phone number when you sign up and the advisor will call you at the assigned time.
